3 Years With the Mitakon Zhongyi 50mm f0.95 Lens

All images shot on Sony A7, A7II

After three years and spending thousands on much finer lenses, I can safely say the Mitakon--or as I often call it, the Knockoff-tilux--is my favorite lens ever. It's not that sharp, and the actual light transmission is only about t1.4. However, the Mitakon has a character and whimsy that I don't see or feel in the Leica Noctilux, the Nikon 50 f1.2, or the Canon 50 f1.2 L. It's something optically special and unique all on it's own.
